Equestria: Ponyville Asylum

Happy Nightmare Night everypony! Wait...that was last week¿ Opps... This was an idea I've had for 3-4 weeks now and planned to upload this on Hallo- I mean Nightmare Night, but it wasn't 100% finished, so I decided to work on it a little longer. Unfortunately, Mondays are really busy days for me, so I didn't get it finished in time. And then I was distracted with mid terms, homework, finding Riddler Trophies in Arkham City, and DCU online, which ended up with this picture being uploaded a week later than I wanted... But it is finished and I really like how it turned out.

This idea came to me a few days after Lesson Zero premiered, because Twilight's crazy smile reminded me of the Joker, and I thought it would be cool to have a drawing of every pony as a crazy character (Assuming they all go crazy eventually, and not counting Discord). But then I had the even better idea of having the Mane 6 drawn as Batman villains that matched their personality (because they're all crazy in some way or another). The more I thought of the idea, the better it seemed because of the (at the time) upcoming release of Arkham City and Halloween coming up.

Here's a list in case you aren't super-knowledgeable on Batman's Rouges Gallery:

Twilight Sparkle: Calendar Man, because he is obsessed with dates/holidays, and Twi is obsessed w/ organization. (Calculator, Egghead, Lady Spellbinder and countless others could have worker too, just not as well IMO)

Apple Jack: Bane, obviously because of strength and intelligence.

Pinkie Pie: The Joker, because of obvious reasons.

Rarity: Catwoman, because of the purple costume, Opalescence, and stealing gems. (actually this one fit so well I'm kind of disappointed I didn't think of it originally. My first thought was actually Poison Ivy, because of her using pheromones to manipulate men, simular to Rarity manipulating men with her looks)

Fluttershy: A little harder, but I went with Hush, because of his name and because Hush prefers "to employ guile and manipulation in place of noisier tactics such as gunplay", or so I'm told. (I don't have extensive Batman knowledge, or at least I didn't at the time, I had to do a LOT of internet research)

Rainbow Dash: Now Rainbow was incredibly tricky for me. My first thought was Mr. Freeze, because of the blue color, the goggles, and obvious 20% cooler reference. But I didn't feel his personality fit Dash well enough. My next thought was Talia Al Ghul, because of her loyalness to her father, but it still didn't seem to fit well enough for me. Instead, after a LOT of research, I went with Firefly, because although his current and most widely recognized persona is as an arsonist, he was originally written as a villain who used lighting effects and optical illusions, and I thought that was a better fit for Dash because of her rainbow mane and Rainboom powers. As for the costume, I sort of did my own mix of classic and current Firefly costumes, because the original Firefly costume was ugly as hell.
